YAY! we r gonna have potluck during recess next week! haha. teng teng carmie jing er charlene sheryl and i r gonna bring our own food and share! :D yum. there will be a lot of delicious home cooked food! :) haha. this is to make up for the sucky food in the canteen!
anyway ytd what mrs loong said during devotion was actually quite true. for once she said something that is really relevant. GOD SAID love ur neighbours as urself. but how many of them do u actually love??? i mean u cannot have such a BIG HEART and love everyone in the world rite??? even the most saint person in the world has someone they dont like. so it's very hard to uphold this commandment. we only love those ppl who we like and are LOVABLE. but the fact is we have to love EVERYONE. EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING. it's very very difficult coz there r bound to be those irritating ppl outside E.G. AH LIANS AND BENGS. but it is not up for us to judge them... the NEIGHBOURS that God meant is actually the whole human population. the whole human race. and inevitably there r ppl i dont like esp lians and bengs but i think sometimes i'm being quite unfair to them. we cannot just judge a person by how they dress, look or carry themselves. but we often see only the superficial side but not the inner ones. the ppl we dont like r humans too so we cannot condemn them. of coz as an imperfect human i cannot totally undo my dislike for this grp of ppl but i'm trying to judge them less and not condemn them. it's hard. although it wont hurt for them to change :D sometimes the way they act is really very inappropriate and i hope that they will change for the better.
including those lians and bengs who 'act high-class' aka celeste chen. seriously, i think that girl shld stop dressing like that and act more like a normal girl. she's potraying herself to be some sort of whore. i feel quite sad for her. why must she degrade herself like that?? she's a rather normal person and if she doesnt do all these things she can lead quite a normal and good life. she will not be always viewed as a sex object and put down by all everybody. what if when she decides to change and nobody takes her seriously??? it will be quite hard for her to get a job. will any employer want their employee to be some sort of public slut??? i dont think so. but as i said it is not up to me to judge her. i'm just giving her some suggestions. must she make herself look like a joke ALWAYS?? if i were her i will be very unhappy. sometimes i wonder if this girl ever has a true fren...
anyway back to what i was saying. LOVE UR NEIGHBOURS WHICH MEANS THE WHOLE WORLD. everybody has to get some kind of affirmation and to be loved nobody deserves to be left alone, leading a lonely life. but remember no matter how alone u r GOD LOVES U. i know it sounds very religious and like some kind of propaganda but it's true. god loves u no matter who u r and what u do. even if u feel really reallt unloved and unworthy to be loved. no one deserves god's unconditional love but this is what god is. he loves us more than ayone in this world can. just remind urself of this fact constantly and u will feel better whenever u r down. at least there is someone out there who cares abt u. and we love because god first love us. so it's really really true that god LOVES us. even if u r the worst guy on earth. :D nv ever 4get that.
and since mrs loong talked abt the loving ur neighbours think i thot of something. for christians, do u really want everyone to be saved??? there must be someone that u hate to the core and sometimes u wish that he/she will nv be saved. for me there r times like that. but u have to do what god wants u to do. spread the word to everyone in the world. try to save as many ppl as u can. even the ones u hate. maybe once they become christians u will find urself liking them. so my point is that we shld really try to reach as many ppl as we can. even the ones we dont want to talk to. that person that u dont like is someone who god loves very much. so we shld let them know abt his love towards them and not leave them to meet their own doom. :) so because of the devotion mrs loong shared, it made me think of lots of stuff. haha. i'm actually a deep thinker! :D i didnt have time to blog abt these ytd so i'm writing it now. :P sry that it sounds kinda heavy and will probably bored u. lol. but all these r seriously what i think! :D
