it's the end of last week of sem 2!! no more being a freshie next sem. how sad :( freshman year shld be the most fun one? haha. ok i dunno coz i havent gone to other years before! but i really think my first yr was not bad though.
had the last lectures/tutorials this week. i really had fun going for class with the girls wanqing jieying swee kee and xin hui :D next sem we shall all have the same classes again! and also my hw111 group which is really enjoyable. luckily i didnt get sucky group mates. ok actually half the group is my usual clique but still the others were really good toooo.

last saturday met up with the s19 clique for dinner then proceeded to pam's hse for a while! my rest day from studying he101 which was totally useless to study. next time i shall know better. dont study for a clicker test. anyways just chatted at buddy hoagies then off to pam hse for a fun drinking session. wasnt really a hardcore one though. ok it was a mild drinking session. but seeing pam so high was really funny.
aft that proceeded to charlotte's 21st party for a more hardcore one!! of coz it will be hardcore coz it's the renowned IVP drinker's club! hahahaha. charlotte's our president so on her bday must confirm be hardcore! they already started for a while when i got there, so i just joined in the fun. must have more of IVP drinker's club training soooon. and today is just nice CHARLOTTE'S 21ST :) happy birthday!
so back to mugging days for mon and tues. but today was a break! skipped hw111 tutorial to go for lunch with hw111 grp mates!! :D most fun grp ever i tell u! hahahaha. totally love the lunch session we have. even though it's like in sch. talked for quite a while and really talk cock like crazy. and a lot of other stuff. must have more hw111 bonding session. just skip the remaining tutorials lah! haha.
on a side note, this sem is ending soon and i really had more fun this sem than the previous ones. because of the wonderful small grp of friends i have this sem! the friends who will always help me with my work, let me copy notes when i skip lectures and most importantly give me wake up calls for morning lectures! i love going for tutorial classes with them. even though we r a really really small grp living in our own little world, it's super fun! cant wait for next sem so we can all go for tutorials and lectures tgt again. gonna really plan our timetable well and take our mods tgt! like what joseph said: take 204a tgt and die tgt.HAHAHA. yesss we shall all drown in our difficult mods tgt. but i dont wanna die next sem! still wanna apply exchange leh. anyway i think i will have a great time with the small little grp of friends i have for my mods next sem! wanqing jieying swee kee xinhui joseph! year 2 sem 1 awaits us.
ok but seriously not before we go and play aft our stupid examsssss! i really hope we get to go for our camping/cycling/relaxing holiday sessions. i especially wanna do camping because MY FAVOURITE TV REALITY SHOW IS SURVIVOR. i totally wanna experience the survivor feelings and live outdoors. according to wanqing's experience it sounds super fun! must join me k. then we can all go and experience living in the wild tgt. xinhui can bake us a cake in the forest! hahahahaha. i shall go ask the kayakers to do this tooo. we can all kayak to a secluded island and just stay there for a day or 2. start our own fire and camp down there. IT WILL BE SO FUN.
and i hope that during holidays we can have our genting trip and freshie outing!! i realise it's only less than a mth before we all move out of hall. and some of us will be going exchange so we really cant see each other! :( must have our freshies day and outing ok. the freshies ji tight lor! haha. i will miss dinner with u guys next sem!
hmm guess i shall spam my videos before banning myself from watching videos from tmr onwards. i'm going to watch my favourite reality tv show!!! :D :D
HE101 CHANGED TO 14 MAY INSTEAD! first paper postponed :( i'm sad because it screws up with my 3 days per paper timetable! and HE202 is just before HE101. really need to study HE202. it's freaking hard !!
on the bright side HL814 is open book. yayyyy!!!! :)
finally done with most of the quizzes and presentations for this week!! just one more quiz left then it's full real study mode for exams! what an eventful life right?
anyway i'm glad that i'm finally done with hw111 presentation! it was ok. just the preparing part was like torture. do so many things for a useless mod. at least meetings with the group was fun! talk retarded stuff and do stupid things and generally just slack arnd but at the same time super productive too! we always chop chop very fast finish our work one. actually a lot of stuff we will finish on our own first so doing it tgt was a lot more productive.

went to wala wala again last sat! yifang jio us to go! went there and met some of jonny's and yifang's colleagues. dont really know them so just sat there and stoned a while. apparently it's their fav band playing or something? it's called THE UNEXPECTED. their voice is really really good. especially the girl! she's like super cool. really loved listening to their renditions. their type is kind of like the soft rock type? but it was quite cool. got to drink and listen to good music. it's definitely a very good place to chill. just that when the music is playing u cant talk and make a conversation.
and i realised i forgot to blog abt the wala wala visit on cai's bday! shall blog and upload photos abt it another time :) :) i wanna meet up again with them soooon!

HW111 presentation in 12.5 hours time. oh no! hope my group does really well!
reading my he101 notes and they use clubs as an example for price discrimination!
it was just a minor example but i did a thorough analysis abt it. smart or what? HAHAHAHAHA
so i feel that clubs they practise 3 types of price discrimination! ok not really 3 types. more like 2 with a special one.
NO. 1: THIRD DEGREE PRICE DISCRIMINATION they segregate their market by gender. BOYS VS. GIRLS. since guys have higher demand and it is relatively inelastic and girls have relatively lower demand and more elastic. all guys just wanna go there no matter how ex it is! explains for the difference in price for guys and girls. trying to gain as much producer surplus as possible right.
NO. 2: TWO-PART TARIFF i'm using more of the one with single consumer. true it has 2 different types of consumer but they already discriminated by using 3rd degree soooo this applies more! apparently the expensive cover charge is to capture the entire consumer surplus as profit! then the drinks is more of depends whether u wanna buy or not. but a lot of ppl will just buy coz it's more convenient. so those consumers who buy, the club can get more revenue. and the irony is that even with expensive cover charge, their drinks are expensive too. SHLDNT BE LIKE THAT ARH. with high cover charge can already cover the consumer surplus. why charge drinks at a high price??
NO. 3: TWO-PART TARIFF WITH A TWIST this is part of the above but as it says, with a twist. how creative can the name get? they let us pay high entry price and entitles the the buyer with a certain number of free units. actually 2 free units only. and even with the 2 free, they limit it to certain drinks. so in the end it's like not really that free? they entice ppl to get the free ones then cannot get enough and will try to buy more. next time just get what u r entitled to because u paid for it with a really high entry price!!!!
