Leap year today!! 29th Feb :D

always remind me of this book that I read from Catherine Lim and I really love it a lot. A Leap of Love. I kept crying when I read the book coz it's really good.













anyway they made a movie out of it 4 years back. the previous leap year 2008. can't believe it has been 4years! I was still in j1 back then. I rmb I went for the movie with st marg's ppl. love them sooo much! haha. and 4years to me was really far away and a loooong time. but now it has been 4years already! a lot has happened and a lot has changed but the memory of us 4 years ago is still clear and intact. Really enjoy my school times with these wonderful friends!

For me leap year will never be abt romance, like what's written in the book. I guess every leap year I will be reminded of my sec sch friends and the times we spent tgt. of coz I wont rmb only on leap year lah. haha. most of the times I will! but I just feel that it's a special day for me to recall what we did in the past :)

a trailer of the movie. didnt think that it was as nice as the book but it's not bad though. although my idea of Li Ann and Jeremy was totally different from the cast.

lots of tests and assignments coming up soon. hopefully i will survive this semester well! :)

it has been a rather eventful week though. have to rush assignment, study for tests but not forgetting to take time out to spend with all my favourite ppl in the world!

phuture last fri. so went back really late. or shld i say early? reached home at like 5plus 6 coz i was hungry and being a greedy girl i went to eat mac's breakfast before going home. haha.

last sat had a last meetup before pin flies off to aussie! going for 6 years and leaving us here in singapore :( had this korean bbq thing. a few friends recommended me to go there and i saw that it had rather good reviews on a few blogs so decided to suggest that place. it was not bad. i love bbq food even though it's quite unhealthy. haha. had ice cream at island creamery before going back. then aft that slept thru the whole saturday.

mon was steamboat buffet with the econs grp! jieying janice swee kee and joseph :) yummy steamboat + bbq at only 22nett. it's not bad and reasonably priced. jieying was like our master chef. hahaha. kept on bbq-ing food for us. enjoyed the time spent with these ppl. makes being in sch so much more bearable because of them <3

after dinner went to the airport to meet up with st marg's clique to send sheryl off! flying away to aussie for exchange. why is everyone going there arhh?? haha. said byebye to sheryl and also a good catching up time with them :)

tues was valentines day! had dinner at the flyer and also went to sit the flyer. although i sat it like a few times already! but it's a different experience sitting it at night lah. it's so niceee coz of all the lights! a different type of scenery. and there was not a lot of ppl taking the flyer too. so it's much better!

wed met up with some of the doka ppl for dinner! had this ramen at jp. it's quite good! miss having them in hall. and we reminisce about our foc days. haha. orientation was really fun with them! glad that i have an unforgettable freshman year because of these ppl.

fri went back to sch the submit assignment then off to novena to study with teng and grace! the usual study grp. did some work finally. if not i will just keep slacking at home. oh and i went to buy twelvecupcakes from united square. haha. coz i nv try before. like super noob! although i dont really like cakes but cupcakes is quite acceptable to me. coz it's small i guess. but it's not really like my fav or what. anyways i have to say that twelvecupcakes is quite delicious leh. the cupcakes taste good. although i dont really know how to appreciate. and i like the packaging. they look so beautiful! actually that's the main thing that i like abt cupcakes. haha.

went to watch ghost rider aft that with wilson. coz he say he wanna watch. i didnt even know until i met him. haha. i nv watch ghost rider before leh! so a bit confused. but it's ok lah. not bad the show. i can still catch what it's saying. quite an interesting plot.

just read this girl's blog. naomi neo?? apparently she's quite famous. and she's only 16! haha. 16 is like 5yrs ago for me sia. so so so long.

anyway i was looking through her blog and she keeps complaining that she's ugly and so flawed. but in all her photos she looks damn chio. and she doesnt look her age at all! she looks older than 16 leh. and i think there r a lot of ppl bitching abt her online coz she keeps saying that she's ugly and all that. and she doesnt accept compliments at all.

even though i'm like bitch please, if u r ugly then what am I? hideous?? and so is a lot of girls in this world. but come to think of it i kind of understand how she feels also. probably insecured abt her looks and all that. it's natural to feel this way i guess. most ppl like to compare themselves to others better than them. cant possibly compare with ppl who r worst right? if not how to improve? and there is nothing wrong in wanting to look better and prettier although u r already pretty to begin with. isnt it human nature to constantly want to improve? she's like pretty and quite skinny but she sees herself as very flawed. i think she just wants to become even prettier than her present state lah. cannot blame her what. everyone wants to be better looking right?

it's like how i always look at the photos of super hot and pretty girls and i will be like wondering how is it to be as pretty as them. and of coz i will feel like i wanna be better looking right. quite impossible to be as pretty as them without plastic surgery. haha. but at least a bit more up to standard when compared to them lah. when i look at all the pretty girls i will feel like some ugly shit right and i really think it's not wrong to want to be better. so i really think that shldnt blame her from criticising herself.

ok but the thing that i'm quite puzzled is why she post so many photos of herself if she thinks she's ugly? like so weird?? she said that it's because there r bound to be some photos of urself that's nice but it doesnt mean u r pretty. doesnt seem like a sound argument to me. haha. why u post photos that u take of urself which shows ur face and all that when u think u r ugly? if u keep taking photos of urself and there r pretty photos THAT MEANS U R NOT UGLY ALREADY WHAT. so i dont understand this part. ppl who think they r ugly will nv take so many self taken photos of themselves. it's like when i'm ugly i will nv post up photos of my face or take a picture of myself then write OH NO I'M LOOKING SO UGLY TODAY. LOOK AT MY UGLY FACE! like seriously?? why will i want other ppl to look at me being ugly? when u take a photo of urself is that u want ppl to look at the nice and better side of u right. so for me i will never post up ugly photos of myself. i dont even post a lot of self taken photos. haha. coz not a lot of my photos look nice arh. the woes of being ugly! sooo i think she's probably fishing for compliments in this aspect.

but i really think cant blame her for thinking this way though. it's not like ppl give out compliments easily and generously in our society. i guess we criticise ppl more than we compliment them that's why some girls like to fish for compliments because no one ever says nice things to them!

i guess it's the way our soceity works today lah. everyone is superficial and wants to become prettier and better.

2nd jan 2012! cycling at palau ubin with jonny yihui ming howe kian hong and dalun. fun cycling but totally tiring! and i fell down :( like a sian only. i flew down the slope and fell. coz i dont really know how to utilise the breaks. haha. what a noobie right. but it's ok. the injury sustained is not very serious though.

anyway went for teoheng with daryl gay and pin before going for buffet with the rest. fun time singing! like quite long nv go sing already though. haha.











































17th jan 2012! chuts 21st bday celebration in hall. at the midnight of the 17th. haha. jojo baked an awesome rainbow cake for her!! it's really nice. have to try baking rainbow cake. although it looks quite hard. haha. A+ for jojo as a bf lah!

just two days ago! fri night! haha. went for dinner at this mexican restaurant called La Salsa. actually the food was surprisingly quite nice. i ate this thing called enchilado? something like that lah. quite yummy.
